❋ Interviews will take place at a local coffee shop, park, playground, or eatery.
❋ No need to be dressy, just wear your normal day-to-day attire.
❋We are mostly mamas, so don't worry if you need to bring your kiddos to the interview. If meeting at a playground or park works best so that your little ones can play, let us know.
❋ If you have had a recent background check, are ported through Decal or school, or something else, bring proof of this.

Our Website
Families will register on our website prior to needing us- they will provide info about their home, children, pets, etc. Then, families who are registered can hop on the site to hire a villager (that's you!) when needed. At the moment, we plan for each family who registers to receive a dry-erase sheet to hang on their fridge with the rundown on days you arrive. (This is a big help, such as "Check in with the parent after two hours" or "Keep the house quiet so mom can rest, turn the TV on or take them outside, but mama needs her sleep!"
Families will use the website to schedule and make payments. If hired, you will post your availability on the website. We want a picture of each villager, a schedule of when they are available to help, and any neat info that makes you stand out-such as the info you wrote on your application!

The Backup Village plans to have a soft launch during the summer, then really kick things off during the school year when families are more likely to need a sick or personal day.
